Staying at the cutting edge of digital mapping technology has been a key part of LinkDirect’s success. Frustrated by many off-the-shelf mapping systems, we developed our own system, SMART.
Being in-house, SMART has been specifically designed to address issues including distribution planning, targeting and analysis. As it is applied to more and more relevant situations, it’s constantly being refined and improved.
It was SMART that enabled LinkDirect to create bespoke delivery round structures for our Directory Distribution department, covering over 10 million UK households.
SMART assists our Newspaper Distribution department to manage the delivery of tens of thousands of newspapers and magazines each week, and our Leaflet Distribution department use SMART to arrange bespoke distributions for councils and PCTs wishing to communicate with all residents within their specific boundaries.
