Looks like we fell for an April Fool on our previous post - Slideshare decided to play “a little prank” on their users by adding an extra two zeros to the number of views on each presentation.

We had a bit of a chuckle about this in the office today - wishful thinking on our part! - but many others are not seeing the funny side. Just have a look at some of the comments responding to Slideshare’s announcement on their blog.

The reaction on Twitter is also somewhat negative. I’m sure Slideshare will be thinking long and hard before doing something similar next year.
